Condition Ratings Explained

Every book tells a story, no pun intended. Some of our books look like they have never left the shelf, while others have been obviously used for many years.

We realize the condition of used books varies greatly, and not every detail of a book can be provided in the listing, so we determined a way to make describing a book's condition as easy as possible.

Every book in our store is assigned a Condition Rating. This number helps to clearly communicate the condition of the specific book you are purchasing.

Condition ratings are assigned on a scale of 1 to 5. 

1 - Excellent/Like New - Like new, minimal to no visible wear

2 - Gently Used - Light wear, clean pages, solid binding, some notes/underlining

3 - Used - Good condition with moderate wear, may include markings or minor flaws

4 - Used with Noticable Wear - Visible wear, creases, writing, or aging present

5 - Significant Wear - Heavy wear, damage, or defects--priced accordingly
